Your lecture at the conference
Presentation time
The presentation time of the regular lectures is 20 minutes.
Finally, there will be a discussion with all presenters in each presentation block.
The keynote lecture is scheduled for 45 minutes and the plenary lectures for 30 minutes each.
There will be no discussion after these presentations.

Please upload the Recy & DepoTech 2024 presentations via OwnCloud not later than November 10, 2024.

Design
There is no template provided by the organizer - i.e. the visual design of the presentation is up to each presenter.
The format 16:9 is optimally supported.
Unreadable texts, figures and tables at previous conferences give us reason to point out some points concerning the design of the presentation documents:
- If possible, use the presentation in landscape format; in most cases, the screen is wider than it is tall.
- Format large enough (for example: Headings: Times New Roman 36 pt.; font height of text: 24 pt. "BIG IS BEAUTIFUL").
- Light background color tones make it easier to read on the screen.
- No overly detailed graphics (unreadable) - use enlarged sections instead.
Technical equipment
The following audiovisual media are available for the presentation of your lecture:
- Headset or handheld microphone
- Laser pointer with presentation function (slide forward / back)
- Video projector with computer (Microsoft Office 2021 64bit - PowerPoint)
ATTENTION: no laptops brought by the participants themselves can be used!
Bringing the presentation on a USB stick is only possible in exceptional cases. In such cases, the presentation must be handed over to the hall attendant in the lecture hall at the latest one break before your lecture block (not in the break immediately before the block).
All computers are equipped with a Microsoft Office 2021 64bit package, so we recommend that you also create or save your PowerPoint presentation in this version in order to avoid any animation or display problems.
The organizer is not responsible for any problems in this regard!
